The Ohio Patient Network (OPN 501-C3) and Ohio Patient Action Network (OPAN 501-C4) are a coalition of patients, caregivers, activists and medical professionals who support the compassionate use of cannabis for various medicinal purposes. Our mission is to coordinate information between patients, medical professionals, and attorneys, as well as to educate the public and keep Ohio Patient's members current with the latest developments in medical marijuana.
Ohio Patient Action Network has the additional mission of lobbying, at all levels of government, for the therapeutic use of cannabis. Donations to OPAN are not tax deductable and donations to OPN are tax deductable.

The OPAN President and I take this opportunity to present the bill to you, the Patients of Ohio, as it is the culmination of all your input, advice, and thoughts as well. As Chair of the Bill Committee, I gathered all the good advice you gave me and, where possible, incorporated it into this bill. This bill will not cover every eventuality, Patient, and/or circumstance. No single bill could do that and pass the Legislative process. However, it does incorporate significant advantages that no other state has managed to accomplish so far. |
